START-UP accelerator Innovyz is launching a new revamped program in Adelaide that will first focus on health and wellness companies. The Tonsley precinct-based accelerator program started in 2012 had revamped its intensive 12 week Innovyz Start model to introduce focused industry streams that would come online throughout the upcoming year. Its new model, with first stream applications closing in a week, would now limit participants to no more than eight companies to be mentored over a nine month period. “Every three months we’ll be launching either one or maybe even multiple streams,” Innovyz chair Philip Vafiadis said. The sought-after international accelerator program had already assisted more than 45 companies to raise committed funds of $23 million since its inception.
